Neil Greet FIEAust CPEng EngExec NER APEC Engineer IntPE(Aus)
Neil is a Director of the Institute of Integrated Economics Research, and the consultancy Collaborative Outcomes which provides strategic advice on resiliency and humanitarian action. He has worked with Engineers Australia and the Australian Strategic Policy Institute on energy policy for several years and in 2019 Neil co-edited a policy report “Designing for resilient energy systems: Choices in future engineering”. Neil is an Engineering Executive and is Deputy Chair of the Engineers Australia College of Leadership and Management Board. Through Engineers Australia and other NGOs Neil has led policy development on humanitarian engineering, and the advancement of indigenous engineering. He is currently undertaking higher degree research at the university of New South Wales – Canberra on Energy Resiliency and Fintrooresight. Neil has served in the Australia Defence Force with operational service in Iraq and Timor Leste. He led projects in several remote indigenous communities and played a key role in Defence’s response to Victoria’s 2009 ‘Black Saturday’ disaster.
